Dear Kanchan madam,
1. Another thing which is ambiguous in some banks is that the
eligibility
will be
1. 60% or more marks in +2
Or
2. 40% in graduation
Now if a person has scored 50 % in +2 and 50% in graduation, he is
eligible
on the basis of graduation and not on the basis of +2. In that case,
will
the minimum eligibility become graduation or will it remain +2?
2. Some banks insist on scribe from a different academic stream.
Most of the VH people are from Arts stream, and different academic stream
becomes either science or commerce, where the scoring will be generally
high. So, it becomes more difficult to find a person with less than 60%
marks in sciences than one with less than 60% marks in arts.
Besides, there is no rationale in insisting on a different academic
stream
for a banking exam.
If you are fighting in lines of dispensing with the "less than 60%
marks",
then it will be very useful.

Thanks Gautam. I have planned a three pronged action the details I do not
want to discuss at this stage. We will get results for sure but it will
take
a little while.
What I need from everyone is the scribe/writer policy of all banks and
any
other institution that is bothering them.

Dear Kanchanji,
You deserve to be thanked by all of us for your lead to address the
problem
of our friends which they are facing in seeking suitable writers for
their
banking and other competitive exams. May I know where and what kind of
legal proceeding you have initiated? And that if any type of
cooperation
is
needed from the people who are interested in this matter.
So for the nature of the problem is concerned, the main problem which
has
been brought to my notice by the people in Karnataka or as many friends
have
expressed on list is that they have to face difficulty in getting a
suitable
writer with aggregate marks less than 60% in his/her last exam.
With kind regards,

I have already started the legal process once again. It will take some
time.
In the meantime please lets discuss the nature and details of the
problem
so
that they are all sorted out once and for all.

Subject: [AI] Vocie to problem of the writer bank and other exams
Dear Moderator and all learned advocates of rights of pwd on the list,
as
many members on the list and off the list have expressed the problem
which
they have experienced in connection with eligibility conditions of the
writer in banking exams, I would like to know if there is any
centralised
authority to approach for getting certain relaxation in existing
eligibility
conditions of the writer in bank exams particularly the condition that
the
writer should have less than 60% marks in his/her last exam.
