Hello,

I used britannica in the past. The pack contained three cds. I customised it using jaws rame manager to locate the search box. Though the search was a bit tricky, I could read the details. Perhaps it was simple html, as far as I can remember.

I shall look for java access bridge on the net and give it a try.

With best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.

Subject: [AI] About Encyclopedia Britannica 2010.

Hello,

Recently I purchased Encyclopedia Britannica 2010 from a promotional sale in my locality. The problem is that Jaws is not detecting a single character in the britannica window. It did not even recognise a single character during installation. I changed the screen resolution to 1024-768 as required during the installation process. It further worsened my situation. Jaws failed to recognise text in notepad and jaws cursor read nothing until I changed the screen resolution back to 800-600.

Has anyone on the list used Encyclopedia Britannica? Please help.

With best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.
