I discussed all these things in Jaws list and also asked if Jaws supports so many applications, why not encyclopaedia britanica? But I couldn't get any satisfying reply. I hope, some more users will throw light on it. I think, encyclopaedia encarta is much better if we talk of accessiblity. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amiyo Biswas" <[email protected]>

Subject: [AI] About Encyclopedia Britannica 2010.

Hello,

Recently I purchased Encyclopedia Britannica 2010 from a promotional sale in my locality. The problem is that Jaws is not detecting a single character in the britannica window. It did not even recognise a single character during installation. I changed the screen resolution to 1024-768 as required during the installation process. It further worsened my situation. Jaws failed to recognise text in notepad and jaws cursor read nothing until I changed the screen resolution back to 800-600.

Has anyone on the list used Encyclopedia Britannica? Please help.

With best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.
