This is not a permanent change. If you want to change this permanently, open configuration manager from word, go to settings menu (alt + s), arrow down to text processing, tab to the checkbox detect language change or something, and then make the changes over there. Once you're done, press the OK button, press control S and then close it. Now whenever you open Microsoft word in future, this setting will take effect.
