Well, Access India has been the most important platform for visually challenged in India to come together and enhance our understanding about enabling technology and questions of accessibility. As such, I don't think putting in too many restrictions would be a good idea. The moderator is already having lots of responsibilities, saddling him with further responsibilities of verification and so on may have serious practical limitations. I don't think it would be prudent to convert this platform into an invite only list, there are many people from different parts of the country joining the platform, they may not always find people to invite and refer. If there are members who violate list guidelines, they can always be removed. Anyone who abuses the list for nefarious purposes such as duping people, again, the moderator can always take action. So in my view, things should be considered on a case by case basis, rather than bringing in too many restrictions that could deny access to such an important platform for people who would need it. Regards,
