Hello friends, We are using windows7 in our home desktop. The windows somehow got corrupted and hence the system can't be booted. It contains some importent files in C: mainly in my documents and downloads directories. Further more, it is not possible to install windows without formatting c: and and get the files back from windows.old directory because partition size is small and other partitions also contain a lot of data. I am told by somebuddy that we can either boot our system from a live cd of either ubuntu or vinux and copy the files on an external HDD. Is it possible? If yes then, Please provide any podcast/ tutorial which explaines the step by step process to do so. Your help will be highly appritiated. Thanks, Ajay
