Hi Nitesh, Though not at very far off places but still I have gone on a lot of outings with VI as well as sighted female friends of mine. Your safety depends on your own. You have attendants to guide you through check- in for flights. And keep a single thing in mind: You are the esteemed customer for each and every restaurant/ Hotel. Therefore, it is their duty to make you comfortable. It is only possible if you ask them clearly as to what you want them to do. For Example: I even ask service guys to read out the menu for me along with Prices! <Smiles> For tourist places, you have professional guides. Last but not the least: Ask him not to forget his dearest life partner (a white cane) on each and every tour!!! HTH, Ajay
