News- President for control of diseases causing visual impairment. *President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday stressed taking concrete measures to control the diseases causing visual impairment. *The President stated this in a meeting with representatives of Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.The President said establishment of research centre for eye diseases was need of the hour. He directed to prepare a feasibility report for establishing a research centre for eye diseases and assured of all possible support in this regard.
