I've tried URL-encoding, replacing the @ with %40, but the problem remains. As you say, Aparajita, it may be a bug in the way Welcome handles Proxy rules.
I think the only way around this might well be to change the @ to, for example, 'qqq' and then change it back on the .a4d page.
Could SKS please point me at an example of how to alter the form contents? Would I best do this with Javascript, alongside my form content checking?
