Looks ok. But you said url encoding didn't work. What code did you use to url encode the link?
I tried putting the "enctype=multi-part/form-data" tag into the form definition, but I also tried simply entering the user name as "david%40stanstednews.com", this being what I assume URL encoding would produce anyway.
Neither worked, though.
