Everything was working fine when the following started to happen.
(I don't believe I changed anything before this - but maybe - it
was at 3 in the morning.)
Every time I access an .a4d page, it gives an error on the first
a4d command: "404 Not Found The requested resource could not be
found."
Configuration:
4D Server/client 2003.7
a4d v 3 (now upgraded to 3.0.1 b7)
os x (10.4.8)
development macs (not the production macs)
Tried the following without success:
- restarted server and client macs
- tried safari and firefox
- other pages
- found out my plugin was expired on september 12th - I upgraded it
and still not fixed
- upgraded the plugin to 3.0.1 b7
- tried standalone - same thing happened
- made sure "client is web server = true"
- the production computers still work fine (compiled)
- under the Active4D Preferences, under license information looks
correct
- other misc., doesn't make sense but desperate to try, things (not
worth mentioning)
- read the manual
- accepted the fact that someone will point out something really
simple and obvious to fix the problem
If it's 3.0.1b7, you have to have <>A4D_ClientIsWebServer = true in
the shell as well.
