Good afternoon, Iowa State University has had a third-party hotline for over 8 years. The cost seems high for a service that gets little "business." We are considering setting up an internal hotline along the lines of Colorado State University's. Before we go ahead with it, I have a couple questions for you:
Do you have any empirical evidence that would indicate that hotline reporters would mistrust the anonymity provided through an internal hotline, and therefore, be less likely to report? Do any of you (besides Colorado State) have an internal hotline? Thank you!
