All employees who either drive a University vehicle or drive their own on a regular basis in connection with job duties are required to be approved by our Authorized Driver Program. We run an MVR at the time of application, and enroll them in the CA DMV Pull program so we get automatic updates when their record changes. This also applies to students who want to reserve and drive a University van to transport others. It also applies to students and employees who drive a University Electric Service Vehicle.
