All employees who either drive a University vehicle or drive their own on a
regular basis in connection with job duties are required to be approved by our
Authorized Driver Program. We run an MVR at the time of application, and
enroll them in the CA DMV Pull program so we get automatic updates when their
record changes. This also applies to students who want to reserve and drive a
University van to transport others. It also applies to students and employees
who drive a University Electric Service Vehicle.

Subject: [acupa-l] Validating Drivers Licenses

Greetings all!

Does your institution have policies or procedures related to validating drivers
licenses for employees who drive state vehicles? We are looking for information
that would be applicable for those who are required to drive a state vehicle as
part of their employment or for those who drive a state vehicle while on state
business.

I look forward to your responses.

Thanks in advance,

JEN
