Hello Anu,

My university is part of a system of 15 institutions; therefore, we have Board
policies and UT System policies. The Board of Regents policies are developed
and managed by the Board office. System-side policies are managed by the System
office. I believe that institutional Presidents are involved in the drafting of
some of these policies. At my institution administrative policies are handled
by my office.

Best,
Heather

Subject: [acupa-l] Distinction Between Board Policies and Presidential
(Administrative) Policies

Hello,

At Rutgers University we are in the process of refining our "policy on policy"
and are most interested in learning what criteria/definitions others are using
to distinguish between "Board" policies and "Presidential" policies. Please
also include in your response whether the Board" policies are managed by the
policy office or a Board office.
Thank you for your feedback. Best.
