Kathy, I am in the middle of a conversion (review) of all organizational policy. It started in 2011 as a divisional project assigned to me and morphed into my current position; however, we are a community college with only 8000 credit students and 900 employee's. We are not part of a larger system so I may not be of much help, but please feel free to contact me directly.

From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kathy Warden Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2014 10:21 AM To: '[email protected]' Subject: [acupa-l] Policy management in transition to independent University ACUPA members, The University of Oregon is transitioning from the Oregon University System to an independent University of Oregon with a Board of Trustees. Part of this transition involves the massive task of reviewing all system and university policies, determining which to adopt or rewrite; and deciding where new policies are needed. Since this includes a great number of policies, the task needs to be carefully coordinated and managed. Has anyone gone through this type of transition? If so, did you hire someone to coordinate this effort and what did that structure look like? We are looking for any successful models you are willing to share. Kathy Warden Operations and Program Manager Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost University of Oregon ATTN: Please be aware that when you respond to an ACUPA-L e-mail, the reply will be distributed to the ENTIRE list of members.
