Kathy: I did a review/re-adoption of all university policies in 2008-2010 as a part of establishing our university-wide policy process, and would be happy talk through or share the process we went through here at Ohio State. We're also starting a 1-2 year process to take any policy not currently in the template we adopted in 2008 and transfer them over, and we're providing this service centrally.
If you'd like to talk, below are times I'm available...just let me know when and at what number to call you: Today (Thurs, June 26) until 2pm Ohio time (11am Eugene time) or from 3-4 Ohio Time (12-1pm Eugene time) Fri, June 27, 2-4pm (11am-1pm Eugene time) Tues, July 1, 1:30-2:30 (10:30-11:30 Eugene time) or 5-7pm (2-4pm Eugene time) -Eunice Eunice Hornsby, Ph.D. Policy and Training Director The Ohio State University Office of University Compliance and Integrity 1543 N. Part of this transition involves the massive task of reviewing all system and university policies, determining which to adopt or rewrite; and deciding where new policies are needed. Since this includes a great number of policies, the task needs to be carefully coordinated and managed. Has anyone gone through this type of transition? If so, did you hire someone to coordinate this effort and what did that structure look like? We are looking for any successful models you are willing to share. Kathy Warden Operations and Program Manager Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost University of Oregon ATTN: Please be aware that when you respond to an ACUPA-L e-mail, the reply will be distributed to the ENTIRE list of members. If you do NOT want to send an e-mail to everyone, please reply directly to the individual who initiated the query (their e-mail address appears in the "From" line of their original e-mail). If you wish to remove yourself from the ACUPA e-mail list, please go to the following website and complete the form.
