Hi Meg,

At KU we have an emergency management
plan<http://policy.ku.edu/sites/policy.ku.edu/files/EMERGENCY_MANAGEMENT_PLAN_PUBLIC.pdf>
that is online for public viewing. We also have a more detailed emergency
response protocol that is a protected document, limited to those with
responsibilities involved in the protocols.

I am not sure your question is related to the Ebola outbreak, if so, we
recently revised our University-sponsored Travel to Locations with Travel
Warning
Status<http://policy.ku.edu/international-programs/travel-to-locations-with-travel-warnings>
policy to include not only State Department travel warnings but also those
issued by the CDC. Additionally, under the special circumstances section, we
have included new procedures for any person arriving or returning to campus
from a location where a CDC travel warning has been issued.

I hope these are helpful.
Amy

Subject: [acupa-l] Infectious Disease Policy

Within your institution, where is your policy on infectious disease housed -
under General Administration, HR, ....Here in NJ by statue it should fall under
the college's Emergency Operations Plan as a Board of Trustees policy. Do any
of your institutions have such a policy in place that you could share as
appoint of reference and have any of you incorporated it into your
institution's emergency op plan?

Thanks for any information you may be able to provide.
