Hi Deb, We do have a policy on vacation donation program, that has our civil service staff and labor-represented groups as it's scope. Our faculty and professional academic and administrative staff may not participate. Donations are allowed with the recipient :
- Is experiencing a medical condition that is life threatening such as cancer; - Has undergone major surgery for a health condition; - Requires inpatient, hospice, or residential health care; or - Is caring for an immediate family member who is experiencing a medical condition that is life threatening or who has undergone major surgery for a health condition, and who is not receiving round-the-clock care by medical professionals. All the remaining details are available here. http://www.policy.umn.edu/Policies/hr/Leaves/VACATIONDONATION.html Michele On Fri, Dec 12, 2014 at 11:17 AM, Bartlett, Deborah <[email protected]> wrote: > > Do any of your institutions have a shared leave policy, for employees to > donate leave to other employees? > > I've been asked to research this issue, with a focus on what specific > conditions qualify employees to receive shared leave at other institutions. > > Thanks for your help -- > > Deb Bartlett > Administrative Regulations Analyst > Office of Procedures, Records, and Forms > Washington State University > Pullman, WA 99164-1225 > 509-335-2005 > > ATTN: Please be aware that when you respond to an ACUPA-L e-mail, the > reply will be distributed to the ENTIRE list of members.
