Heather:

Ohio State has an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity,
Non-Discrimination/Harassment policy that may be found here:
http://hr.osu.edu/public/documents/policy/policy110.pdf. We also have a
separate Sexual Harassment policy which is currently being revised and covers
sex- and gender-based discrimination. We are almost nine months into a Title IX
Resolution Agreement with the Office for Civil Rights and we're currently
revising our Sexual Harassment policy to be a unified policy addressing sex-
and gender-based discrimination for both students and employees. This revised
policy will become Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Harassment, and Relationship
Violence. The current Sexual Harassment policy may be found here:
http://hr.osu.edu/public/documents/policy/policy115.pdf and our last draft
submission to OCR may be found starting on page 5 of this PDF:
http://titleix.osu.edu/PDFs/OCRReport6.

We'll be re-submitting our revised policy to OCR on or before 6/15. If anyone
is interested in seeing that draft, please email me directly at
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> and I'll be happy to share.

Thanks,

Subject: [acupa-l] Discrimination and Sexual Harassment - combined or separate?

Hello,

UTSA currently addresses both discrimination & sexual harassment in the same
policy. There is some interest in separating the two. If you don't mind sharing
I'd love to know what others are doing. Are we behind the times by not already
having two?

Thanks,
Heather
