Hi Bonnie and all, We do have a vacation leave donation program that is only available to Civil Service and Labor-Represented employees. That policy is located here: http://policy.umn.edu/hr/vacationdonation. All of the inclusions and exclusions are identified and documentation requirements are there as well as the following language pertaining to denials:
*Denial of a request to use donated days is not subject to grievance or appeal. * I understand from our HR area that while this policy has been in place for a long time, there are no many people who use it. Best of luck, Michele On Tue, Nov 10, 2015 at 11:59 AM, Bonnie Leigh Reifsteck <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello colleagues, > > Would you mind sharing your policies on Catastrophic Leave/Leave Donation > programs? > > Specifically, we are wondering who/what approves the requests for leave > submitted by employees?
