Hi Bonnie,

Just catching up on ACUPA e-list queries.

Here is UT Austin's current policies on Sick
Leave<http://www.policies.utexas.edu/policies/sick-leave> and Sick Leave
Pool<http://www.policies.utexas.edu/policies/sick-leave-pool>.

The State of Texas recently passed a bill authorizing Sick Leave Donation but
we are still in the early stages of creating a policy for our university to
address this topic. Information about this bill can be found
here<http://www.legis.state.tx.us/tlodocs/84R/billtext/html/HB01771F.htm>.

Subject: [acupa-l] Leave Donation Program policies

Hello colleagues,

Would you mind sharing your policies on Catastrophic Leave/Leave Donation
programs?

Specifically, we are wondering who/what approves the requests for leave
submitted by employees? An office/individual/committee? Is there an appeal
process for denied requests, and to whom?

Thank you,
Bonnie Leigh
