Hi Michael, Thank you for the reply. We have Windows Server 2003 Active Directory installed so that we can use Exchange 2003. When we installed the AD we used mixed mode so that we might avoid authentication issues with legacy desktops or nodes.
Currently, our network is listed as ourcompanyname.co.uk OR the original random NTDomain name, which bares no resemblance to the new AD name. We have no NT4 Domain Controllers, except out original PDC was upgraded to AD 2003 and is acting as a pseudo PDC. I hope this is clearer. Many thanks Karl -----Original Message----- From: Michael B. Your first sentence confuses me a little. If so - then just don't do it. Otherwise, the most common issue I've seen is the one I discussed in a blog article (and it applies to Linux workstations connecting via older versions of Samba, as well): ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for viruses by MessageLabs. ~ NEW: CounterSpy Enterprise: Centralized Antispyware - #1 in eWEEK Test! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/product.cfm?id=400> ~
