Thank you for the reply.  We have Windows Server 2003 Active Directory
installed so that we can use Exchange 2003.  When we installed the AD we
used mixed mode so that we might avoid authentication issues with legacy
desktops or nodes.

Currently, our network is listed as ourcompanyname.co.uk OR the original
random NTDomain name, which bares no resemblance to the new AD name.  We
have no NT4 Domain Controllers, except out original PDC was upgraded to
AD 2003 and is acting as a pseudo PDC.

I hope this is clearer.

Do you still have NT domains? Your first sentence confuses me a little.
If so - then just don't do it.
