Doc, This can be done in a few different ways. Here's my favorite:
1. Place the clip in the timeline. 2. Use the razor tool to splice the clip at the frame on which you want to freeze. (Or, for more accurate results, move the CTI "playhead red line thing" to the frame you want to freeze and use "Razor at Edit Line" from... I think the Sequence menu. That last part is from memory so the verbiage may be off slightly.) 3. Select the second clip that you want to freeze. Use Clip > Frame Hold. (Depending on your version it may be Clip > Video Options > Frame Hold.) Check the box that says "Hold On" (which means "freeze on") and then from the drop down menu choose "In Point." This will freeze on the first frame of the clip-- and thanks to step #2, that first frame is the frame you want frozen. If I have a video clip in my timeline, and I want to pause the video, in other words, I have one frame in my video that I want to play in the timeline for like 15 seconds, how do I do that? And then I want the video to resume playing. Thanks! Yahoo! Groups Links [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
