Hi everybody Thanks for your reactions, I shall try to explain my project: My project is a editing from a conference. My Footage contains 7 avi files (720i pal) from an hour, 13 GB each. I also used some after effects projects for the titles and leader.( which are not really big) for the effects i only did some color corrections. The main timeline is 82 minutes, Containing 2 timelines. These two timelines contain 15 more timelines. It doesn't really matter in which timeline I work. After every action, no matter what, I have to wait at least 5 sec, sometimes 20s. all the preview files together is 100 GB. Everything is rendered. I didn't expect this to happen with this kind of machine, I mean, its not even HD I'm working with.
