I don't have Canon H1 but I have a Canon HV20. I use a free tool called HDVSplit (just google it). It captures HDV footage as .m2t (mpeg 2 transport) file that I can import and edit in PP2.
HV20 is selling around $8xx these days. It's good to buy one as playback/record deck to reduce tears and wears of your H1. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark Purvis To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2007 1:31 PM Subject: [AP] PP2 & Canon H1 Hello, All. Anyone having trouble capturing HDV footage shot on Canon H1? I'm using the camera as a deck, created 1080i HDV project in PP 2.0, shot footage 60i HDV. I was hoping to just plug in the firewire and start capturing... but no go. PP2 will control the camera, but I can't see any footage. As far as I can see all of the settings are correct? What am I missing? Thanks. Mark Purvis [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
