For example, the Panasonic AG-HVX200 records to both tape and P2
card. Mechanical tape drive problems in my Sony PD150 are my direct
reason for shopping for a new camcorder, the rest of my PD150 is
still in perfect condition. So replacing it with a camcorder without
mechanical parts would be good.
What realistic alternatives do we have for recording using mechanical
parts (thus no tape, no DVD, no harddisk recording)?
