Yeah, but what do you do with the master? I've just filled 1.5TB of HDD with 
movie clips - mpg and AVI and I'm now installing another 750GB drive in the 
server to cope with the next onslaught!

Just to make everyone drool, I've just been asked to build a £3500 PC with 2 
core X6700 and 8GB memory, 8/9 MIDI and 24 channel sound card and it's all for 
audio!!!

  Yes, capturing 60 minutes fills up your hard drive in a hurry. But, with 
proper project management, you would not need be leaving the entire 60 minute 
clip on your hard drive. Rather, you can use Premiere's built-in project 
management utility to export a trimmed version of your project that includes 
only the clips you used anyway. Once you do that, it turns those subclips into 
actual clips on your hard drive.
