Hi,
Before i try to help, i want to ask about your question.
Are you want to make a subtitle of a movie ? or want to use text in the moving
clip ?
As far as a know, the using of matte dosen't make the clip animated, except you
want it to.
Can you give the detail step by step of what you do with the matte and the text
document ? It will be better if you send screen shot. Picture tells a lot than
words.

I'm very sure it must have a simpliest way to do that.

thx

I can't get track- or image-mattes to work: the matte always follows
the animated document, rather than staying at the bottom of the page.

I found a convoluted way to do this -- make an avi file of the
animated document to which a matte is then applied. There must be a
simpler way?

Help.

Thanks.
