I have used the File > New > Title for that functionality, one for each
phrase/line. Usually I use a template but once I used it without any
template. Then I drag and space them to the timeline and apply Effects >
Video Transitions > Dissolve to the front and rear of each one. I have
discovered that in CS3 the title window lets one tailor the first title,
then use a button on top (New Title Based On Current Title - with a T as its
icon) that allows duplicating the tailored title file in order to change
only the text but keep the formatting. Makes doing 100 lines much easier!
