First of all, I want to acknowledge the replies -- the opportunity to
post questions and receive replies is priceless!!

I think my original question was not clear:  I want sentence by
sentence, but as each sentence appears, the last one disappears.  So
far, it looks like a matte is the only way I can find that does this. .
