I have Premiere Pro CS3. I captured some video into Premiere Pro which
was fine on the shooting tape; the audio and video sounded and synced
fine. However, once captured and dropped onto the timeline, the audio
was out of sync with the video. As much as five seconds away. I was
wondering what the problem might be.
My first capture was a full tape, about 50 minutes long. I thought it
might be a problem from capturing such a long take so I recaptured
just a 10 second clip of it and that was out of sync also. I was
wondering if it might be a buffering problem.
I captured by starting the VCR/Camera first (a Sony Z1U)and then
another test where I started the capture mode in Premiere Pro first
but still had the same problem.
I have a very new, very fast computer which I haven't had problems
with on the capturing before.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Mark
