hmm... the out of sync problem is not created during capture. The .mpeg file 
plays in sync using media player. The out of sync happens ONLY after import to 
Premiere. Then Premiere does a suckie job in conforming audio. Then, the audio 
become unsync. But the original .MPEG file has no problem.

when there are time code gaps. It's a big flaw of Premiere.I got around it by 
using Adobe OnLocation to capture full tapes at a time then importing the long 
clips into Premiere. OnLocation and, for that matter, almost every video editor 
other than Premiere, has no audio sync problems during capture. If you have 
other capturing software, you might try using that as well.Let's hope Adobe
