If you capture HDV footage and there is any drop out, audio get out of sync
afterwards. What to blame? Adobe audio conforming. You will have to manually
adjust the clip to sync it back. It sucks! I hate audio conforming.

+0000Subject: [AP] Audio is out of sync

I have Premiere Pro CS3. I captured some video into Premiere Pro whichwas fine
on the shooting tape; the audio and video sounded and syncedfine. However, once
captured and dropped onto the timeline, the audiowas out of sync with the
video. As much as five seconds away. I waswondering what the problem might be.
My first capture was a full tape, about 50 minutes long. I thought itmight be a
problem from capturing such a long take so I recapturedjust a 10 second clip of
it and that was out of sync also. I waswondering if it might be a buffering
problem. I captured by starting the VCR/Camera first (a Sony Z1U)and
thenanother test where I started the capture mode in Premiere Pro firstbut
still had the same problem.I have a very new, very fast computer which I
haven't had problemswith on the capturing before.Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark
