Thanks for the suggested solutions. However, I can't seem to make it 
work. In the Motion Picture Browser, how do I export as AVI? The 
nearest available command is "Export To" whose only choices are 
either handycam or memory card. Using the command "Open in External 
Program" doesn't work either; it only results in the error message 
again: Unsupported Format Or Damaged File. Maybe it has something to 
do with the fact that I'm not using the latest Premiere but only 
PPro 2.
