CS5 will capture DV and HDV natively via firewire, just look in the capture settings for 1394 as the source. Also set the deck control to firewire and you can control the source during capture. The MXO2 gives you HDMI, and Analog capture and playback and HD SDI and SDI in all versions except the mini. Richard
