I am stumped,
I tried the hand brake good idea thanks. But I got the same error message I get
with m2ts. "file is damaged or unsuppourted"
When I try windows media player, it plays the sony software converted mpeg file
with audio.
But pre pro cs3 will import only the video, of the same mpg file no sound track.
I don't want to lose quality.
I think I will have to upgrade but had planned to do that in September.
Maybe someone in the forum has an Idea of what I could do with cs3 till then?
I may just have to rough cut with sony software and save my work for now.
Dose any one know if a new CS6 will be out in September?
I also ran into hard drive problems
I was crashing for a while with hand brake and the sony PMB.
Turns out they don't like the new Prestige external hard drive.
If I avoid the new hard drive they work fine.
