Apple allowed people to buy an iMac DV with a plain CD-ROM drive when at the
least to get the iMac Digital Video model a DVD-CD-R/W combo drive should have
been the minimum option. IMHO a Mac billed as being for "Digital Video" should
never have passed out the factory doors with anything less than a DVD-RW drive.
An iMac DV with a CD-ROM is like ordering a bacon cheeseburger without the
bacon and cheese.
