I have read several articles saying that Microsoft is rethinking Windows 8 and 
plans on a new release called "Windows Blue" later this year. It will address 
issues that desktop users have with its "designed for touch" features. They 
might have more appropriately named the new OS "Windows Blew" : )
I found that one has less issues with Windows 8 if they think of their desktop 
as just a huge smartphone.
