it's the premise that god is a separate being that is false, in most cases, the soul/self only experiences partial consciousness in the human body/mind, when the soul/self becomes fully conscious inside and outside the body/mind, the sense of being a separate being will no longer prevail
just because you may not be conscious of something does not mean it isn't so
