Hiya Mark, Youwho & Godzen, Hope you are well. Who honestly knows what it is to be another person? This conceptual pin-pong game pre-supposes we are the same. Maybe tall people are tall and short people are short. Maybe Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj was enlightened and cornel Gaddafi is not. Perhaps the Chinese will save us or perhaps eat us with a nice egg- fried basmati rice. When the expression “I am” is evoked by the individule as an undisputable reference of truth ,this is because each sentient-being can only prove it’s own existence by stating “I am” This does-not prove all sentient being to be the same. Who can prove to another that they love, they think, they fear, they hope, No- one. Because the consciousness awareness we experience is unique to the self. The dilemma you struggle with is firstly the assumption that one can know another. In human terms this struggle will go on for ever. It has no recognisable conclusion. Much better to “know thy self”, all of thy self and this way one may reveal your knowledge of your bigger picture and maybe, old dualities will evolve. Sometimes such a shift in attitude and perspective, shines a light into the darkness of the immoral soul and reminds one of that condition when all was seen as perfectly placed in a symphony of unity. The mental debate gives way to a full sense of Okayness ………… some called this love. We can-not separate from self or now. Because we are here to learn about self and now. It’s best to decorate your bedroom the way you like it ………. .
