Actually, for the record (and as far as I can remember), I've never
been offered anything to enhance the DBI. Only two specific key
enhancements to DBD::Oracle (for Oracle 8, and LOBs). Both around three
years ago.

Who also sponsored the Oracle 8 support in DBD::Oracle.
