Nothing in the GPL prohibits any of the things you mention. The things GPL requires is 1) you cannot relicense the stuff, 2) all derived works are GPL-ed too 3) you must make source available when you distribute. But you can sell, rent or spice up a salad with GPL-ed code. Abigail
