This may be true as a condition of something being art - but many things are
made in the name of art that do not meet this standard -  unless you wish to
imply that even bad and derivative art is always one of a kind - in which case
there is more of the latter than the former as such it being one of a kind
unique to its maker is no distinction, nor of merit
