Michael;

I can't understand what you wrote because I don't understand terms
like Internet
Explorer and browser and those are in the first paragraph.
After than I'm really lost.

What
program are you using for writing a message to the list? Do you read the
list
messages in a browser (Internet Explorer, for example) and reply online?
Or do
you use a separate email program?

The "free verse" line breaks are caused by
(1) the line breaks that your
outgoing program inserts into your message and
(2) the line breaks in the
message that the list sends to us and back to you.
If your outgoing message
has longer lines than the messages from teh list,
then the lines will wrap
like you see.

Check the preferences in the program
for outgoing messages. Select the option
to "wrap lines to window" or similar
wording. That should prevent the program
from inserting unnecessary line
breaks in your outgoing messages.

I think.

If the problems persist, then
take Woody Allen's advice to himself about his
psychiatrist. If it doesn't
work, go to Lourdes. :-)
