DIA pricing has a lot of variables. HE isn’t going to bring 10G fiber to the middle of nowhere but they are available in almost all of the big datacenters. So don’t expect getting $1k/mo 10G 20 miles away from a major city where there’s only 1-2 options available.
You can attempt to hand them a quote from an entirely different location if you want but don’t expect them to listen. I would measure how much you’re paying a month (ex, $3k/mo) getting a loan and getting your own fiber to the closest datacenter.
