I’ve had push button vehicles for 5+ years now.  No issues None zero zilch 
Nada.   My battery in my key fobs warm with plenty of warning.  My current Ford 
fob has been barking for months and I’m seeing what will actually happen.   

I think that your key is your pacifier and it’s time to give it up.  Lol!

Think of it as your Favorite WPS button :)
