I guess I was picturing an end mill with a pilot bit, but I'm not sure if that's not a thing. -Adam On 4/12/2019 4:00 PM, [email protected] wrote: End mill. You'd need a flat bottom for the flange on the SMA bulkhead connector. At a glance I thought the depth stop was the cutting edge. Never mind, I'm stupid. I know nothing. If there is such a thing as a countersink bit that makes a flat bottom hole in metal then maybe that's a way to go, but it doesn't seem to be a simple thing to find. -Adam On 4/12/2019 3:47 PM, Adam Moffett wrote: Here you go. Countersink the hole with a bit like this. I should do the googling before the answering next time. https://www.toolstoday.com/v-13069-55294.html?msclkid=4669295c52711e4ddaec75ecb97ceb31&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=NX_Shopping%20Campaign%20-%20Desktop&utm_term=4584757331455670&utm_content=Product%20Type%20-%20Desktop On 4/12/2019 1:50 PM, [email protected] wrote: Yes, the plate is nearly 4mm thick. I take it you’re mounting it on a thick plate of some kind? Wow, that’s a lot of thread, good luck. Most I've found have ~14.5mm threads exposed, I'm looking for something closer to 20mm. I've search online but can't seem to find anything. Anyone know of a source for this? -- AF mailing list [email protected] http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- AF mailing list [email protected] http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- AF mailing list [email protected] http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
