we've started deploying SmartRG VDSL modems, they are also ADSL capable. Seem to work fairly well, even on ADSL. Very simple, straight forward modem. SR501 - https://www.smartrg.com/sr501 - so far we have not had a ton of problems with them, but we have only had 10 in the field for the last 5~ months.
