The important question is will the LEC support a third-party modem? How will you provision it?

Don't really want to wait through hours of Tier 1 support with the LEC trying to diagnose a random problem. Any recommendations for a replacement DSL Modem? Only need wired connectivity, WIFI is done via UniFI throughout the building. I think I've run across some fancy nighthawk routers with a built in DSL Modem, but that seems like overkill.
