You need just a bridged modem, or a modem/router? It's been quite a few
years since we did DSL, we used Zhone but when I needed to pick one up at
the store I remember Actiontec was OK. I don't think you can even buy just
a simple bridged modem anymore.

Subject: [AFMUG] DSL Modem Recommendations

Helping a volunteer organization, DSL From the LEC. LEC provided the
modem(Probably at least 5 years old). It's randomly locking up multiple
times per day requiring a power cycle, and it takes about 5 minutes to
reboot. Don't really want to wait through hours of Tier 1 support with the
LEC trying to diagnose a random problem. Any recommendations for a
replacement DSL Modem? Only need wired connectivity, WIFI is done via UniFI
throughout the building. I think I've run across some fancy nighthawk
routers with a built in DSL Modem, but that seems like overkill. Just need
a simple DSL modem. Any recommendations?
